Parents should never be left outside the process.
Child therapy works best when parents understand what is happening, know what skills are being worked on, and feel supported at home. Parent support is not separate from therapy; it is built into everything we do.

What parent support includes
- A parent-only consultation before the main plan begins
- Clear explanation of recommended services and goals
- A dedicated WhatsApp group for communication
- Photograph or short video updates after each session, with consent
- A verbal session summary where appropriate every two weeks / progression
- Written progress reports and formal reviews every 3 to 6 months
- Practical strategies for agreed goals at home
- Translations requested where available for concise summaries
- School coordination when requested and authorized
Observation and transparency
Parents may observe from outside the therapy room. This allows the child to participate with less anxiety while parents gain full visibility into the process.
Our team also holds periodic meetings to coordinate goals, review progress and maintain consistency across a child's learning support across home, therapy, and school.

Home guidance
Parents receive practical, easy-to-use home plans connected to current goals. These are designed to fit everyday routines rather than turn home life into another therapy session.
Working with schools
With parental consent, Learning Lab communicates with schools to align goals, share progress and arrange practical strategies. This ensures that support remains consistent across both home and school environments.
