Clarity before conclusions.

Understanding a child's strengths and developmental needs is the first step toward effective support. Assessments clarify the nature of difficulty and what support should follow. We offer formal and informal assessments across developmental, psychological, communication, motor and academic areas.

What parents can expect

The purpose of assessment is to provide clarity and recommendations, not to box a child into a label. Support recommendations are practical, clinically appropriate and set within the functional context of the child's life. Reports may support school admissions, regional service applications, IEP planning, therapeutic placement or provide guidance for home and school professionals, depending on the type and purpose of the assessment.

Formal and informal assessment

Formal assessments provide standardized scoring and diagnostic clarity, whereas informal assessments offer quick observations to guide therapy goals and intervention planning. Both are used based on clinical need.
