Areas we may work on
- Expressive language (words, sentences, requests, ideas)
- Receptive language (understanding directions, questions and concepts)
- Speech clarity and articulation
- Social language (pragmatics, eye contact, conversation skills)
- Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) if needed
- Early communication skills (gestures, imitation, joint attention)

How support is planned
The Speech Therapist observes how the child currently communicates and sets clear goals that are useful at home, school and in social settings. Sessions may include play, structured language activities, visual support, repetition and parent-guided practice.
Parent involvement
Parents receive guidance after sessions and practical communication strategies that can be used during ordinary routines to promote relaxed language growth and home carryover.
